- Squats: Start with a barbell on your upper back and lower yourself down into a squat position, making sure to keep your knees behind your toes. Focus on squeezing your glutes as you push yourself back up.
- Lunges: Take a step forward with one leg and lower your body down, making sure your front knee is at a 90-degree angle. Push yourself back up, engaging your glutes and repeat on the other side.
- Hip Thrusts: Place your upper back on a bench with a barbell over your hips. Push your hips up, squeezing your glutes at the top, then slowly lower down. Repeat for several reps.
- Glute Bridges: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the ground. Push your hips up, focusing on squeezing your glutes at the top, then slowly lower down. Repeat for multiple sets.
- Fire Hydrants: Get on all fours and lift one leg out to the side, keeping your knee bent at a 90-degree angle. Squeeze your glutes as you lift your leg, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
Remember to listen to your body and adjust the intensity and weights according to your fitness level. It’s always better to start with lighter weights and gradually increase as you feel more comfortable and confident.
