How To Get Six Pack Abs With Chairs

If you’re looking to achieve perfect upper body definition and get stronger while getting in the best shape of your life, then this 10-minute complete six-pack ab workout is for you. It’s a fun and effective routine that you can do with just a couple of chairs.

Benefits of the Six Pack Ab Workout

This workout, created and demonstrated by Chris Heria, is designed to target your abdominal muscles and help you build strength and definition in your upper body. By following along with this routine, you’ll not only work on your abs but also improve your overall fitness level.

What You’ll Need

To do this workout, all you need are two chairs. Make sure they are stable and secure so that you can focus on your exercises without any distractions. Additionally, you may want to have a mat or a towel to cushion your knees and elbows during certain movements.

The 10-Minute Six Pack Ab Workout

This workout consists of various exercises that target your core muscles, including your rectus abdominis, obliques, and transverse abdominis. Here’s a breakdown of the routine:

1. Chair Knee Tucks: Start by placing your hands on one chair and your feet on the other. Engage your core and bring your knees towards your chest, keeping your upper body stable. Repeat for 10 reps.

2. Chair Scissors: Sit on one chair, leaning back slightly and holding onto the edge for support. Extend your legs out in front of you and cross them over each other, mimicking a scissor motion. Continue alternating for 10 reps.

3. Chair Leg Raises: Sit on the edge of one chair, placing your hands beside you for support. Lift your legs straight out in front of you, engaging your lower abs. Lower them back down with control. Repeat for 10 reps.

4. Chair Plank Circles: Get into a plank position with your hands on one chair and your feet on the other. Slowly circle your hips in one direction, focusing on engaging your core. After 10 reps, switch directions.

5. Chair Oblique Crunches: Sit on one chair, leaning slightly to the side and grabbing onto the edge for support. Lift your knees towards your chest while twisting your torso towards the same side. Repeat for 10 reps, then switch to the other side.

6. Chair Mountain Climbers: Get into a high plank position with your hands on one chair and your feet on the other. Drive your knees towards your chest, alternating between legs. Perform for 30 seconds.

Conclusion

This 10-minute complete six-pack ab workout is a fantastic way to strengthen your core, sculpt your abs, and improve your overall upper body definition. By incorporating exercises that target different areas of your abdominal muscles, you’ll be well on your way to achieving those coveted six-pack abs. Remember to focus on proper form and engage your core throughout each movement. So grab your chairs, follow along with Chris Heria, and get ready to take your abdominal training to the next level!

Ni kidding this is the real fucking deal omg my abs are on fire…! But… How can I not get my hands to hurt as I grasp the chairs? Pillows? I need some kind of padding as there is like… No fat there to cushion just straight to the bone whenever I put weight on them xD😂thank you for this kille workout! I hope if I do this together with other strength excer and a good diet ofc I will finally get some nice abs…!

You said you were doing it "at least 2 to 3 times a week". After doing this routine regularly I start to wonder if you could actually mean that 3 times is max…
Since it is very tough on the grip, doing it frequently is often worsening the quality of these exercises in consecutive days and thereby, the effectiveness of abs workout.
Also, although there are some good ab exercises, overall this routine doesn't feel like a great one for abs, and the struggle of hands it involves – eventually doesn't seem to be useful for the grip.
