Athlean-X Has SEEN THE LIGHT (A New Era of YouTube Fitness Begins TODAY!)

The year is 2023. Athlean-X Disavows the Iron Graveyard

In a surprising turn of events, Athlean-X, one of the most popular fitness channels on YouTube, has disavowed the iron graveyard. The once demonized movements and fearmongering have been replaced with a fresh perspective on responsible movement.

A New Era of YouTube Fitness: Promoting Responsible Movement

Welcome to a new era of YouTube fitness, where responsible movement takes center stage. Athlean-X has sparked a revolution by openly acknowledging that all movement can potentially have value. It’s not about the specific exercises, but rather the context in which they are utilized.

Gone are the days of labeling exercises as contraindicated. Instead, Athlean-X believes that it’s the individuals themselves who may have limitations, not the exercises. This mindset eliminates the notion of contraindicated exercises and shifts the focus towards catering to individual needs and abilities.

A Buzzword Debate and Marketing Gimmick: Optimal vs. Sub-optimal

The fitness world has been plagued by the buzzword debate of optimal versus sub-optimal. Athlean-X recognizes that these concepts are nothing more than a marketing gimmick used to grab attention in a highly competitive market. There’s no need to be dissuaded from performing a movement or exercise that you find value in just because it may be labeled as sub-optimal.

Athlean-X has opened the door and given you permission to embrace movements that work for you instead of adhering to rigid absolutes. It’s time to break free from the shackles of marketing tactics and focus on what truly matters – your individual fitness journey.

Athlean-X Sees the Light: A Catalyst for Change

The year is 2023, and Athlean-X has seen the light. They have realized that their previous approach may not have been conducive to promoting responsible movement and encouraging individuals to explore their full potential. As a leader in the YouTube fitness community, Athlean-X’s shift marks a significant milestone and sets a new standard for content creators.

Enter a new era of YouTube Fitness

With Athlean-X leading the charge, a new era of YouTube Fitness begins today. It’s time to embrace a more inclusive and individualized approach to fitness. This means recognizing that each person has unique strengths, limitations, and goals, and that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

Rather than relying on catchy buzzwords and absolutes, it’s essential to focus on personal growth and progress. Athlean-X’s change in perspective signals a greater emphasis on holistic wellbeing and the importance of individual experiences in navigating the world of fitness.

Join Athlean-X and Embrace the New Era

As Athlean-X ushers in this new era, it’s up to us to join the movement and embrace responsible movement. Let go of the fearmongering and outdated notions that have limited our potential. Instead, embrace the idea that all movement can be valuable if approached with the right mindset and context.

The year is 2023, and a new dawn has arrived for YouTube Fitness. Athlean-X has seen the light, and it’s time for us to follow suit. Let go of the marketing gimmicks, be open to new possibilities, and discover the true power of movement in our lives.

Let us seize this opportunity to grow, explore, and redefine what it means to achieve our fitness goals. Together, we can make this new era of YouTube Fitness a transformative journey towards our best selves.

Guys, some of you are missing the idea here. Jeff has walked himself into a philosophical corner. His ego got in the way of him simply trying to disprove Sean, and because of that he has opened the door to expressing the concept of all movement having value. How can he blanketly demonize something like a behind the neck press at this point after asserting that the value of anything and everything is based around its context? We have an opportunity to change the narrative in a positive direction moving forward here. This video is poking the bear. I'm goading him. I expect you guys to pick up on nuance like this!

Both Athleanx and Alec are currently helping me reach my fitness goals. They both have impacted me and helped me with working out. I owe them much because they've done more in helping improve my health than any person I've met in my life besides my doctor.

If you lifted half the weights you can do but did steroids you would be bigger than you are still. That's the problem I have being natty. At least do low dosages and still keep your longevity. I don't know but maybe do 1 year 250mg test the next year do 500mg test the next year 1 gram and then back down to trt.

I actually used to tell a certain friend of mine that he used "too much forward lean" while squatting, and that "he should stay more upright". Later on it's occurred to me: this guy has crazy long femurs! If he attempted to stay as upright as I do, he'd fall straight on his bum. I've still mentioned to him that maybe, it might be an idea to experiment some with it, as he sometimes has the problem of toppling over, etc. But I'm never going to tell him what he "should" do. I think, for the most part, the body adapts and finds the "optimal" movement patterns for itself, once one has a certain level of experience.

Wow! What timing. I just happened to select this video after RIPPING. @ Hoopers Beta “ 12 Worst Exercises for Climbers “. for being Inaccurate on one of his videos. Another Doctor of PT thinking they know how to be a strength coach!!!!
I posted this under comments for your other video as well.

I think there are a handful of absolutes with regard to fitness.

You will not adapt without proper training. You will not gain mass without eating. A fundamentally imbalanced training program will lead to… imbalances. There are many different paths to achieving a certain goal (find what works for you!). Skip cardio at your own risk! Technique matters. Etc, etc, etc.

Just about everything else is nuanced though. The way I see it, is no exercise is "perfect". Is an exercise going to get you closer to a goal? Then it is appropriate to try in a program. Too many armchair experts are simply unwilling to try stuff and figure it out. Sometimes all it takes is turning off your social media, and turning on your brain. 💪

Great video, Mr. Enkiri, love your content and having spoken about AthleanX, a man whose bodyguards once started a witch hunt against you, thanks to which I found your channel and stopped following them just reminded me of how I appreciate it.
btw. Tried looking into AXs comment section. Heavily curated with obvious bot comments and/or obnoxious and extremely zealous fanboys.

I haven't finished the video but i wanted to say that, if you worry about optimization, you might not be able to commit to anything. This happened to me and progress just stagnated.

My current program runs (at least) two I-doubt-they-are-optimal lifts, behind the neck press and Lu-raise, just because I wanted two movements that a) Are very different from what I've been doing and b) Look 'Chad'. So basically optimal for my current need of something in the program just for 'fun'.

Hey bro. Due to recent legislation when another coach reviews your program, and trash talks it without you being present to defend it you get to bamboozle their donkenfluter.

I remember being a jeff nippard fanboy and was overobsessed about OPTIMAL™️🤓🤓🤓 exercises thanks to him, instead of just experimenting and seeing what works for me. glad I grew out of that phase and have made better progress by focusing on the basics and sprinkling in some variety than following his MEGAOPTIMAL™️ powerbuilding programs

I wonder if you could please do a video on there was this guy on TikTok claiming he was 3% body fat. He only ate one meal a day. Everyone was arguing with me that 3% is perfectly fine, I said that 3% would be dead most likely

Just an observation here. But when a guy like you with SUPER high energy that shines through in the voice, speaks in a room with loud acoustic, its really tiring to listen to after a short while.
Its personally one of the reason i rarely care to watch your videos.
But ofc if no one else cares, then its an easy ignore.
Have a good weekend.

I agree with you. I have my own bias against lifting for ascetics. Training for strength, range of motion, improving deficiencies and eating well improves physical appearance without it being a focus. A focus on ascetics doesn’t always allow us to move better.

i Believe in my honest opinion that Jeff just riding the trend nothing more .. he's not being genuine and actually even believing that .
and by Trend i mean something like : fake influences seeing people just pumping out modern content so it's either right the wave with them .. but no that would be just generic .
Or do the complete opposite and stand against the wave to get more traction and saying stuff which actually good like : Reject modernity and embrace masculinity , but the guy himself are the embodiment of modernity and just saying this without actually believing in it and just saying it to get more view and go Trendy … (Think of frauds like Tate , Liver king) .
__________________
so i think this is the case here and that's why i believe that it's really important to know or feel the motive and agenda behind someone's words even if u agree with the wording itself .. because if u know the motive u would know that they will be saying a lot of stuff right that u agree with then slip a couple of BS in there with it so u don't notice it .

Like Jeff the king of :
"Perfect workouts"
"Only do this to get Shredded/Lean/Ripped"
"Stop doing X exercise cause it's not athletic enough and do this weird variation instead" |
"Exercise graveyard"
"X exercise is dangerous and will hurt u"
and ofc … "X is killing your Gains"

suddenly he's "playing/Acting" like the wise/nuanced guy now saying stuff like :
"come on guys , stop saying buzz words like Ripped , shredded and just say the % itself … stop saying stuff isn't optimal context matters" .
yeeeee , i don't buy it for a second dude , and that's why i would never actually recommend his video to anyone personally even if some of his actual "words" are true … but like Greg been saying "Calories in vs Calories out" forever , but doesn't mean his full of it .
some might they oh he's redeeming himself or seeing the light , that "MIGHT" be the case but i don't buy it for a second tbh .
