Athlean X is STILL Using Fake Weights! 🧢
The Truth Behind the Gimmicks
If you’re a fitness enthusiast, chances are you’ve heard of Athlean X. The popular fitness brand, created by Jeff Cavaliere, has gained a massive following over the years. But recently, there have been rumors circulating that Athlean X is still using fake weights to demonstrate their exercises. Let’s take a closer look at the controversy and separate fact from fiction.
Unraveling the Fake Weights Saga
The claims of Athlean X using fake weights first came to light in 2022, when a video went viral showing J.J. Watt, a renowned athlete, effortlessly lifting what appeared to be heavy dumbbells. Critics pointed out that the weights seemed unusually light for someone of Watt’s caliber. This sparked a heated debate, with some accusing Athlean X of using props to deceive their audience.
The Athlean X Timeline of Gimmicks
To fully understand the controversy, let’s take a journey through the timeline of alleged gimmicks used by Athlean X. It’s important to note that these claims are not proven facts but rather allegations made by skeptical viewers.
– Curlean X: One of the earliest controversies involved the “Curlean X” program, which claimed to provide incredible gains in a short period. Critics argued that these claims were unrealistic and based on pseudoscience. While some users reported positive results, others remained skeptical.
– Tempo Reps and Time Under Tension: Athlean X’s emphasis on tempo reps and time under tension received mixed reviews. Some fitness experts praised the approach, citing its potential benefits for muscle growth. However, others dismissed it as a marketing strategy without significant scientific backing.
– Allegations of Fake Weights: The most recent controversy revolves around the use of fake weights in Athlean X’s videos. While some argue that the videos are merely for instructional purposes and don’t represent real weight lifting, others believe it’s a deceptive tactic to promote their programs.
Separating Fact from Fiction
While the claims of Athlean X using fake weights continue to circulate, it’s important to approach the situation with critical thinking. It’s plausible that the weights used in their videos are not representative of their true capabilities, as they may prioritize proper form and technique over lifting heavy weights for demonstration purposes.
It’s worth noting that Athlean X has not directly addressed the allegations of using fake weights. However, the brand has gained a significant following due to Jeff Cavaliere’s expertise and the effectiveness of their programs for many individuals who have achieved remarkable results.
Putting the Science Back in Strength
Whether or not Athlean X is using fake weights, it’s essential to focus on the science-backed principles of strength training. Proper form, progressive overload, and consistency are key factors in achieving fitness goals. Instead of getting caught up in controversy, it’s best to concentrate on evidence-based practices that have stood the test of time.
Conclusion
In the realm of fitness, controversies are bound to arise, and Athlean X is no exception. While allegations of using fake weights continue to circulate, it’s crucial to approach the situation with an open mind. Regardless of the truth behind the rumors, focusing on proven training methods and staying consistent will undoubtedly yield the best results on your fitness journey. Remember, the most important thing is to keep pushing yourself, chest up, shoulders back, and stay aboard the Gain Train!

Pssst… Jeff doesn’t look like an athlete, either: https://youtu.be/xv_SzkW5ppM
Jeff papsmear is back at it again?
Joe Defranco needs to hit YouTube hard. He’s the legit version of Jeff with real athletes he’s actually trained.
it seems possible that sometimes he uses fake because he has probably already had his actual work out then may need to do several takes for these videos
Ok jeff did not fake the weights. Your just mad because jeff can get into Dorsia with Paul Allen everyday and you can't.
You look huge here. You should record from this angle and lighting more. Youre usual lighting makes you look a lot smaller. This makws you look impressive 👍🏻💪🏻
you love fake weights bro
Jeff is a good bullshitter , just move the weights like pumping up a tire . And his face needs derma fillers looks like skeletor .Your channel is great .

I can tell you were a Stifler in high school lol
Nothing better to do? Your insecurity is showing.
"Real weights are killing your gains" Jeff Cavalier
When I first started my fitness lifestyle, I used to follow Jeff, because he made it sound interesting with all his "putting the science back into fitness" bs. But, the more I've learned from other sources, the more I've come to realize all that science crap is bs.
Watching him killing gains and brains 😂
They're not fake, just admit he's stronger than you, that's very do-able if you're his strength, yeah. 90s is real bro
Said the fat guy
He eats people like you for breakfast my boy
It’s just 90’s man. It’s not like he’s trying to do that with 130’s or 140’s
Ronnie could do 200s for reps, with pretty decent form.
This is literally what Max Ecueda always wants to shove down his viewers. His fanboys never stop defending him.
He still gives solid advice
Genuinely disappointing. I started off the YT fitness rabbit hole with Athlean X but as I got older I started noticing a lot of 'science'…
Making shorts is killing your gains
gurkamal is tha oyu
Shut up ur on sarms
Jeff is really annoying..
I have been lifting for 1.5 yrs and can flat bench 100 lbs dbs for 6-7 with a proper form and controlling weights at 148lbs bw. Idky Revival thinks that Jeff at 170lbs bw can't flat bench 90lbs with this 3:16 bullshit as it may when he has 25 yrs of experience???
Jeff capilier 🤣
90 gram weights
Mr bean with a beard
Who gives a shit? He's literally just demonstrating form. The weight he's using is irrelevant.
Jeff Cap-ah-liere 🧢🤣
This will kill your Gains
Look at the vibration in tricep , it does not occur with less weight
